After the rate cut ... For

ECB: CODACONS, NOW THE GOVERNMENT MUST WORK ON A FIXED RATE MORTGAGE
Rome, 4 December. (Adnkronos) - The decision by the ECB rate cut''should lead to lower average of 400 € to 'for those years an adjustable rate mortgage, this at least if the inter-bank rates will fall in the same size as logic would dictate.'' The Codacons said in a statement, adding that''after this fall, and after the measures taken by the Government through Decree crisis, now the priority 'is represented by fixed-rate mortgages, for which many families are paying higher rates to 6%.'' Codacons raises once again the McCain plan:''the government buys mortgages from banks in distress, a sort of early repayment, and then return is made by households, the ECB rate, the money paid. Or, concluded the association-ia fixed rate mortgages colleagues at the ECB rate.''
